This Norton Fiber Disc armed with aluminum oxide abrasive has various applications. This aluminum sanding disc or aluminum oxide disc paired with a right-angle grinder or pistol-grip air sander to bevel, blend, and remove stock from a wide range of materials, including aluminum, cast iron, titanium, superalloys, and 300- and 400-series stainless. This fiber disc is 7 inches wide. Using a fiber mount, the aluminum oxide fiber disc ensures a full-resin bond, and heavy fiber backing provides strength, durability, and resistance to tearing.
